Rent a Boardman or Specialized bike
My Boardman and Specialized bikes are all available for hire starting at £5 per day*. You can borrow them for a weekend or for a few months - whatever best suits your requirements.
Why Boardmans? Because nothing beats a Boardman when it comes to sustained speed, quality and sheer comfort on your race weekend, your commute through London's streets or on your weekend away from it all. But don't just take my word for it - read independent reviews.
From my experience, I've found Boardman bikes are fast (seriously, try that Boardman Team!), they handle very well and are remarkably well designed for performance.
Due to customer demand, I also now own three Specialized bikes from their Allez line which have proven themselves to be just as good as the Boardmans I started out with.

Flatbars, disc brakes and top of the line gear shifting make this bad boy the ideal ride on the streets of London.
Or if you want to take it off road - check out the great bike trails within London. While it is marketed by Boardman as a 'hybrid', it has been fitted with race tires and is still a very zippy bike.

The shifting is spot on with no lag whatsoever and the rigid light frame cleanly transmits your pedal power into the wheels. The triple crankset (extra small chainring at the front) is a blessing on the hills.

The crown jewel in my growing family of Boardman and Specialized bikes, this beautiful bike clocks in at a shade over 9kg (First thing I did when I bought the bike was to take a picture of myself holding it up on one finger!)
Boardman, as always, have done a great job fitting on all the specifications on this one (full carbon forks and seat-stand, to start with) under £1000.
This Boardman Team is in excellent condition and will impress you with the sheer zippiness of the ride. If you are not convinced, read the reviews or better still, take it for a test-ride.

My very first customer hired the Boardman Road Race for a month. He liked it so much, he bought it off me at the end of the hire period. So I've now purchased another one.
